I decided that I was tired of my view being blocked (while trying to back out of the driveway) by the over-grown pyramid cedar that was in my front garden. I now have a peach tree in it's place (thanks to a lot of work by my dad).
Part of the trunk is still there actually. (We decided to leave it there so we could tie the new tree to it for support.) There were two other stumps that needed to be removed in order to plant the new tree though.
Much nicer. I don't imagine it was fun removing the sump and roots of that old cedar.

ReplyDeleteGives me motivation to get rid of the big bush in the front of our yard. It looks good.
