Primer's up

I got tired of scrapping wallpaper upstairs, so I came downstairs and put a coat of primer on the diningroom. If the tinted primer is any indication of the final paint colour, I think that it could come out well. (Definitely different from what it was anyway.)
Well, back to the wallpaper removal . . .

Photos from the weekend

I decided to upload all the photos I took this weekend (well almost all of them).

Some of them aren't that great, but since I'm at work, I can't really go through them and decided which ones are worth posting, so you get to see them all :)

Always wear a neck strap . . .

So this weekend, I learned why you should always wear a neck strap on your camera. I dropped my camera while carrying it :( Luckily the worst that seems to have happened is a broken filter (and the mild heartattack when I realized what had just crashed to the floor). Remarkably you can't even notice the crack in the photos. (See "morning" on the Through the Viewfinder page.) So eventually I guess I will need to make a trip to the camera store to replace the filter. . . for now I suppose I can live with it though.

Dead Bodies and Wet Suits

I think it would be rather difficult to get a dead bdy into a wet suit. . . . I was watching Columbo, (since I only have like 6 channels the choice of shows to watch is rather slim), and the guy but the dead body into a wet suit and dropped it in the ocean. Now, having never tried this myself I don't know for sure, but, this seems like it would be difficult to do. I mean, it is hard enough trying to get into a wet suit when you are alive . . .
Well, ok, that is enough pondering on this subject I think, it just struck me as a rather difficult way to cover up a murder, but that's just a guess. . .

Cleaning is a dangerous sport

This picture explains why you should never touch a lit light bulb with a wet sponge. . .
I managed to avoid being hit with any of the shrapnel, but the sound of the exploding glass nearly scared me half to death . . .
Well, back to my cleaning adventures.

yay TV

So I now have a TV in my new house, thanks to Mas.
It was looking pretty iffy when we first plugged it in, but it appears to work quite well now. And the NES seems to be working too :)
