The carpet removal saga . .

So I finally got around to removing the remainder of the carpet from the stairs and upstairs hallway (with the help of George and Carolyn :) ). After removing the carpet we decided that the linoleum should come out too. After much hard work, we were just left with one small 12x16 piece of flooring and sub flooring to remove. Feeling pretty good about almost being done we happily removed the last piece, only to discover . . .



After much collaboration and information gathering, and a trip to home depot, George and I managed to fix it though :)
