I decided to redo my bathroom, (and do some clean up while the dumpster was there).
We started by removing the shed that was in the backyard. The yard now looks significantly larger, in my opinion anyway.
We ripped everything out of the bathroom, took down the kitchen ceiling, and as an added bonus un-finished the basement (it sounds like a weird thing to do, but the basement was damp and I find the smell of mold unpleasant :P )

The kitchen before (well, we had done a few things, I don't usually have plastic sheeting over everything, and dad replaced the ceiling fan with something called a pigtail socket, basically a light socket with two wires and that's it. That's my new tub in the big box.)

Wow, that's some major progress! The backyard does look bigger, and I can imagine that the bathroom and basement are also going to turn out very well. Nice work!
The backyard looks much better, and bigger. The demolition seems to be going well. I hope the re-construction is going as well. I can't wait to see the finished results.

Yep that's why I was there. We were on our way to work on the house when we saw you drive by.
How are your allergies with the basement unfinished? I hope they are better.
How was Saru during the unrest in her house?
I think the allergies will be better once everything is all cleaned up (construction dust and such). The smell of the basement has been greatly reduced in my opinion.
Saru and I have been staying elsewhere so that I don't end up having to tear down any other walls to get a cat out of them ;)
