Justin and I put this little song together the other night, and just for fun entered it in the CBC's Hockey Night in Canada Anthem contest.

I like the little song, although I think it'll need more energy for Hockey Night in Canada.
So were guys just bored one evening and thought it would be fun to do this?
You could probably learn again. If you used to know one, you might be able to pick one up again easier.
I agree that it is too slow, but we figured that I might as well do something with it, so I submitted it anyway. I don't really expect it to win, but now at least I can say I tried.
I had come up with the chords and rhythm a while ago and Justin offered to help me record it, so we found a day we were both free, and started recording, the rest of the song just kind of fell out as we were going along.
