This lonely donkey, who lives at the Mitchell Lions Park, was trying to get out of the rain. Did you know that donkeys need to have friends. They prefer to live in pairs, and tend to get angry and lonely when they are forced to live alone. This donkey had a sign over the pen that said he bites . . . . but he's still pretty cute.

But did he have a friend? Maybe he bites becaues he is lonely.
I think that was what I was trying to get at. He didn't have a friend, there were some swans in the next cage, but I don't think swans make good friends for donkeys. . . they bite too . . . :)
